Description of the competition : CHRONICS is a product design and ergonomics contest for undergraduates from all around Southeast Asia. CHRONICS organized by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering UGM, which will be held on September 14-17, 2017. Theme of this year is "Innovative Breakthroughs in Crime Prevention".
Tata Cara Perlombaan :
- · Download the compressed file consisting of the registration form, Statement of Design Authenticity, and Statement of Change in Ownership on our website http://chronics.ft.ugm.ac.id. The file can be downloaded starting from April, 4th 2017
- · Participants fill the registration form, containing personal information. This form will be the first stage of CHRONICS 2017.
- A Statement of Design Authenticity, and Statement of Change in Ownership must be signed by the team’s chief on legal-size paper (21.59 cm x 35.56 cm) and validated by stamp duty (materai) of IDR 6000 (for Indonesian participants) or other equivalent validation stamps (for International participants).
- · Each team is required to transfer a fee of IDR 350,000/team (National) or 28 USD (International) to 0300709107 BNI on behalf of Naviga Widowati, Swift code: BNINIDJA.
- · Participants are required to scan their students or identity card and the payment receipt.
- · All required files to submit this stage consist of Registration form, Statement of Design Authenticity, Statement of Change in Ownership, Scan their students or identity card, Payment receipt and Mini Proposal.
- · Compress all required files (rar or zip) and label the file with the format: University Name_Team’s Name_Team’s Chief, for example UGM_The Expendables_Jason Statham.
- Upload the team’s file on our website http://chronics.ft.ugm.ac.id before May, 4th 2017 at 11.59 pm (GMT +7).
- · If your team submit the mini proposal file after May, 4th until May, 19th 2017 then you’ll have to submit in different file in PDF with the same format.
- Products that meet the scoring criteria will be selected to compete in Final Round stage.

CHRONICS, the biggest Product Design and Ergonomics competition in Southeast Asia is finally back again this year and ready to take you to the next level!
This year will be the tenth time CHRONICS gathers outstanding undergraduates from all around Southeast Asia to compete and exhibit their cutting-edge products here in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is one of the most anticipated product design and ergonomics competition and is held annually by Industrial Engineering Student Association (HMTI) of Universitas Gadjah Mada.
